How to iron embroidered patches?

Use the following instructions to properly attach patches using iron-on backing:

Choose the item you want to attach the patch to. Remember, the fabric should be at least as heavy as the patch. Denim and cotton are great choices for iron-on patches.

  1. Place your item on a flat surface that can withstand heat.
  2. Heat up your iron to the highest setting that your fabric can handle. Make sure to turn off the steam option.
  3. Iron the area where you want to place the patch.
  4. Cover the patch with a thin piece of clothing.
  5. Position the hot iron over the garment covering the patch and press down firmly for about 25 seconds on each side.
  6. Remove the iron and let the patch cool down.
  7. Check if the patch is securely fixed by gently rubbing the edge with your finger. If it lifts up a bit, repeat the process.

To ensure utmost security for the patch, employ either a sewing machine or a needle and thread to firmly attach it to the fabric

The patch will fully adhere in 48 hours.

Note: Avoid washing the item excessively as it may cause the patch to come off. If you need to wash it, hand wash with cold water and let it air dry.
