They’re so comfortable!
I absolutely love this product. They are comfortable and the fit is perfect. I am a size EUR 40/42 and I ordered the large. Really good quality, and I love the fact they are made to order.
Would highly recommend these.
I would love it if they had an Australian flag design too.

Plus Size Union Jack Dress / Long Sleeve Dress With Pockets / Sizes 2XS - 6XL
It's a pretty color shirt. I highly recommend this shop.
Beautiful bag to wear while picking up French sailors at a bar.
Excellent responsive seller who kindly ensures this was dispatched early so it would arrive on time. Lovely garment. Thank you 🙏
I love this jacket...the quality of the fabric is excellent...but unfortunately the size large was WAY too big for me. I'm a ladies size 8 in US clothing, so I probably should have ordered a size small. I'll have to give this jacket to a family member or friend - who will be thrilled to wear it!

Defining what it means to be goth isn't as simple as pointing to a black wardrobe or a specific playlist. While the aesthetic is instantly recognizable, the subculture is a complex blend of music, art, and a specific philosophy that has evolved over several decades. At its heart, it is about finding beauty in things that mainstream society often deems dark, macabre, or unconventional.
Defining the Goth Subculture
Goth is a contemporary subculture that encourages individuality and emotional depth. It is often misunderstood by the general public as something inherently gloomy or menacing. In reality, it is a creative movement that celebrates the dramatic and the romantic side of life.
If you are looking to express this side of yourself, you can find curated items for your dark aesthetic that help bridge the gap between classic gothic tradition and modern style.
A Brief History of the Movement
The movement officially took shape in the United Kingdom during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It branched off from the post-punk scene, trading raw aggression for a more melancholic and atmospheric sound. This era laid the foundation for everything we recognize today as gothic.
The term itself has deep roots, originally referring to East Germanic tribes and later to the Gothic art movement of the medieval period. The modern subculture adopted this name to reflect its fascination with Victorian mourning rituals and dark romanticism.
The Influence of Music and Atmosphere
While fashion is the most visible aspect, many purists argue that music is the most important element. Bands like Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees defined the early sound with deep bass lines and ethereal synthesizers. Today, the goth subculture has expanded to include various genres, from darkwave to industrial music.
Gothic Fashion as Self-Expression
Goth fashion is a powerful tool for self-expression. It often incorporates black velvet, lace, and leather. Many people choose elegant gothic silhouettes to stand out from the crowd and embrace a more dramatic look.
It is not just about looking spooky. It is about rejecting the pressure to conform to mainstream beauty standards. Whether you prefer comfortable dark knitwear for a relaxed vibe or a full Victorian-inspired ensemble, the goal is to feel authentic in your own skin.
Key Elements of the Look
- Dark makeup: Often featuring heavy eyeliner and dark lipstick.
- Symbolism: The use of silver jewelry and traditional motifs.
- Individualism: A strong focus on DIY elements and unique styling.
Goth Culture in the Modern World
In the past, goths were often viewed as outsiders. However, the internet has helped the community connect and share ideas globally. This has made the subculture more accessible while maintaining its independent spirit. Most members of the community are highly creative, intelligent, and enjoy a shared sense of artistic freedom.
Ultimately, being goth is about a personal connection to the darker side of human creativity. It is a community for those who prefer the shadows, appreciate the dramatic, and find comfort in the unconventional.
